List your skills without shame!
So you’re looking for a new job, maybe you’re new to the workforce, you’ve taken a break, or are just looking for a different position. It’s time to build a wonderful CV that highlights all your strengths. I’m sure you’re brimming with skills and industry experience.
Don’t be shy. Let them know you are focused, intelligent and motivated. Your resume is not the place to be modest, but find the balance and be confident of your skills without being cocky.
If you don’t have a skills section on your CV, add one. Put in skills that are relevant to the position. Often it’s easier to build your relevant skills based on the job description and what the employer is looking for. Add skills in software or applications, if the position requires you to use them and don’t forget to highlight your best professional features.
